WIFFLE® Rochester Officiating and Scoring Rules
  • UMPIRES: While there will be officials monitoring each game, WIFFLE Ball's a game that's officiated by its players.

  • FAIR AND FOUL CALLS: Will be the responsibility of the closest fielder.

  • MOVING BALL CALLS: Will be the responsibility of the batter to determine if the fielder reached the ball before it came to a complete stop.

  • LINE CALLS: (Single, Double and Triple) Will be made by the fielder closest to the ball because he has the best view of the play.

  • CHECK SWINGS: Will be the responsibility of the batter.

  • BATTERS INTERFERENCE: Will be the responsibility of the pitcher.

  • OFFICIAL SCORE: It's the responsibility of each team to keep track of their own offensive numbers.
